Christine Lavin has long been a folk music favorite as a singer/songwriter/career booster/radio host on satellite radio and with The Four Bitchin' Babes, a concept she created. She's had 17 solo albums, been hailed as Singer/Songwriter of the Year from Backstage Magazine, won 5 ASCAP Composer Awards, NAIRD Folk Album of the Year and more. For those who've seen her live, you know that there's always going to be something fun and new. Who else would twirl flaming batons on stage or get the entire audience to knit? A choir of community volunteers of all ages will join Christine Lavin on stage for a unique concert of holiday songs and stories. Many of the offbeat seasonal songs are from her critically acclaimed a cappella album, The Runaway Christmas Tree. Blended in the fun mix are lovely hymns and odes to the season.
